The project will produce a publication that will contain recommendations for how the methods and concepts of the project; experimenting communities, entrepreneurial mindsets, key entrepreneurial competences, social inclusion and the use of digital media, can be adapted to and conceptualized for a preschool education framework.

The recommendations offer a framework for how European preschool education can be designed in light of the 21st century requirements and a rapidly changing society. It will elaborate on current and expected tendencies and offer an interpretation of relevant skills, methods and tools into a preschool setting. Especially in relation to the digital development and the 4th industrial revolution, the focus on critical thinking and inclusion is highlighted together with the social framework on entrepreneurship as a central aspect of what is relevant for preparing children to become active and resilient citizens in the future society.


The recommendations will contain:

1) An evaluation of the learning outcomes and activities of the project
The evaluation will be based on learning results of the participating preschool educators and children in the project, specifying the effectiveness of the developed pedagogy methods and tools in the resource materials. It describes the types of learning and inclusion, and skills acquired through the project activities, methods and tools used. The report will link to learning theory on formal and informal adult and child learning in open and co-created education.

2) Curriculum and teaching methodology recommendations
Based on the experiences and developed pedagogy of the proejct and two international trainings for the participating preschool educators, the recommendations will provide manuals on curriculum development and learning goal definition. It will recommend how to implement the proejct method – the experimenting community- in preschool and teacher education.

3) Technology use and development for educational staff and developers
The technology recommendations to developers and educators will provide recommendations on how to develop technologies for and with children and preschool educators. These recommendations will be based on existing research that is to be applied in the project as well as the project results and inputs from children, educators, stakeholders and partners in the project.

4) A social inclusion framework in relation to future skill needs and societal developments
The social inclusion framework will offer recommendations on how preschool educators can be provided with the relevant skills and awareness of the use of methods, activities and tools for social inclusion in relation to digital media use, combined with faciliation of social entrepreneurial competences and mindsets.
